Even tho it meant me missing out, I’m glad you kept the cranks. The bike is unreal.

Absolutely banging!

Nice dale. That looks like a cateye volt 1700 (or something like that?) - been toying with getting one - do you find it is too bright for the road? Hope you don’t mind me asking…

That era of CAAD7 was peak Cannondale. Such lovely riding bikes.

Just a volt 800. Most would probably say it's good enough for road but it's just my back up light. I've an exposure Toro mk8 and have gotten so used to that I couldn't look at anything smaller.

Looks great, i have made my peace with caad 56 being too big and 54 too small. This looks bang on and cheerful

Absolutely love it. Need another for home. Just makes me want to get out the door.

Absolute black chainrings bring a bit of rowdyness to it, if you can can source black bolts that would be appreciated :)

Is there a go to set of muduards for bikes without eyelets? I've got raceblade longs which work reasonably well, but is there any nifty hack to get proper mudguards (ie. for bikes with eyelets) working on non-eyelet bikes?
Granted the obvious solution is to get a bike with eyelets...

Assuming QR, axiom axle runners. Other cheaper versions are available
-
• #342
or the budget option is p-clips
-
• #344
Ah, i had no idea those existed! Unfortunately i've got 12mm through axles which seems to nullify both options
-
• #345
then in that case I think you drill and tap the axle - like this bike

Wonder how they're attaching it at the stays/fork crown
-
• #348
As nice as that is, surely the positioning of the front mudguard means that the rider gets soaked from spray when it's wet?
-
• #349
Headtube and controls would suffer but I don’t get much on me when I leave the front piece off my Flingers.

that is dope. mind describing how you did it in some detail?
Nice bike. What's the rear light/setup?
