Nah, it's a (rare) thing. I'm waiting on someone to inject Botox into my esophageal sphincter as a cure but the only guy who does it in the UK moved from Manchester to London right after I saw him, and COVID happened.

Hopefully I'll find out, my gag reflex is currently at try not to throw up brushing my teeth stage, pretty sure I used to be able to deep throat beer bottles.
