If I had that car and was on the receiving end of attitude like that I'd resolve to next time turn up with a roof rack full of carbon full sus mullet DH bikes purely to piss them off even more.

Granada in the UK/EIRE and scorpio else where.
Actually got a photo of a scorpio/granada recently.

Yeah, that was a Mk3 Granada in the UK. Scorpio referred to the upper trim level, which was like their top of the range version.

I think the Scorpio was quite often used for unmarked police cars

As @Jonny69 says the Scorpio was the top of the line version. I thought they all had the bigger 2.9 engine and full black leather interior, but as this shows they also did cloth interior Scorpio's too.

This Granada Scorpio was apparently a new dimension in motoring luxury, details from 12 mins in following clip, and shows the trickle down effect of features you'd find on most modern jet passenger aircraft, now being found in modern cars. What feature of the Scorpio do you think this blokes claims is "probably unique on any production car anywhere in the world?"

My old neighbour had a scorpio when I was a young donny. It had the most sensitive alarm system one can imagine. And we were playing football on the parking lot. Good times.
