  • Can we see satanic black? ( I’m
Not sure if that’s a rhetorical question !!! Scary))

  • Can we see?

  • Oh sorry missed that

  • I was wrong - they are silver.

  • I've got T line envy (having seen a guy on the tube casually carrying his with one finger).
So to put my 9month old 3sp C line on a diet...

Ti Rear Triangle and fork ?
Non stock lighter wheelset with 3/4speed external derailleur ?

Is this correct and how much £££ might I get back for steel triangle and fork + standard 3 speed wheelset all in good condition bar 1yrs use ?

Seatpost, BB, headset worth bothering with ?

or better to sell and buy a P line ?

  • talk to @sbbohr he has Ti rear triangle and fork for sell I believe.

  • P line is less cool than modded previous..

I have ti fork / triangles in stock.

Would be awesome to build you some light weight wheels..

Check my website for weight listings; I’ll add the wheels I just built with alloy nipples too!

  • Rear triangle, seatpost, pedals give you the most bang for the ti buck.
Only heard horror stories about the titanium fork (the steerer splits) so didn’t get one for my update, was looking secondhand so couldn’t be sure if any I brought were liable to go the same way.
I’m checking new prices vs sold prices on eBay to get a decent price for the bits I’ve just replaced on my two speed..

  • Interesting. So lightweight wheelset might save 1kg or so over stock 3 speed ? to the tune of around £450?
    alloy minimods Seatpost £121 = 140g saving
    ti triangle s £500 =300g saving ?
pedals - £40 to save 100g using mks promenade standard.
So could get quite close to P line 10kg for about £1k - whatever i can get for stock rear tri +wheelset on the used market.

  • alloy minimods Seatpost

dont get anything but Jtek ti seatpost (a lipped Ti seatpost with decent saddle clamp mechanism)

  • There's a guy on YouTube who has a superlight with modifications that's lighter a T line, so it can be done!
I'd go for the T line if I had the cash!

  • Email me and I’ll spend many time with you working out a project plan!

  • Bottom bracket, headset, tyres, saddle, wheels.

Forks are fine, just have to use a torque wrench ..

  • do you do finance packages ? ;-P

  • The frame clamp on my partner's Brompton intermittently jams on the frame after unscrewing the knob when folding. Took a lot of fiddling to get it off tonight, but seems fine now. This has happened before. Anyone know why this might be happening or should I just buy a new clamp?

  • Shouldn’t there be a spring inside there? Or is it just my clamps, that do.

  • The other clamp doesn’t have a spring. The clamps on my bike do, but I think that’s because I bought the Brompification mods.

  • I think all clamps come with springs @sbbohr will know more.
