  • aye sounds good
banbury home on the 28th ?
i wont be able to get home after a late kick off game, the buses stop running at 6 ish, so it'll have to be a 3pm kick off
farsley and chester are 7.45 kick offs

  • Just pm’d you and @Big_Ted but could I tag along?

  • Hereford ultras on the town.

  • Sounds good although I'm struggling on 28th - maybe just get a pint at some point?

  • But is Hereford ready for three big dogs together?

  • He had a surprisingly good touch, is hard-working and seemed to have a really good goalscoring record in the Bundesliga. Missed a few good chances for us though and is terrible in the air for such a tall bloke, no pace either.

  • Burnley fans were pretty split on him by the time he left. He came into the team as a really bright, creative player but that seemed to fade as teams realised that a lot of the time he was our only creative player and doubled up on him.

Also only missed two league matches in over 3.5 seasons for us so was probably knackered.

I liked him but don't think Everton at the moment is somewhere he'll thrive.

Inclined to agree. He's the kind of player Moyes would do well with - 'here's your position, here's your job, get at it' being thrown on at 70minutes to 'make a difference' isn't really working for him. You can tell he has ability but he needs a settled team and consitent coaching.

  • Gareth Bale retires from all football

  • Thought he did that when he moved to Spain?

  • Does that make him a legit full-time golfer now?

  • Joao Felix heading to Chelsea according to the Athletic. (shrug-emoji)

  • What are you talking about? He's even lying down in that video...

    On. The. Beach.

  • Thought he did that when he moved to Spain?

Three more Champions League winners medals than David May.

  • Robbie Fowler looks like Ken Dodd, minus the hair.

  • is his dad's dog's dead?

  • Second game back playing football last night after illness, cancellations (some fair-weather dropouts) and christmas. Was 6v5 and I was on the five :0

Knee survived, body feels ok but it's maddening being so off the pace. Stretching for tackles that - in my head - I'm winning all day long and ending up foot away from them, getting a ball played into your run and missing the touch buy half a foot. Sure it'll all come back in time, but there was a glorious square ball for an easy tap-in to finish off a great move and I couldn't even get a touch on it. Never felt more middle-aged.

  • Know the feeling. Had similar issues on the basketball court last night. Absolute bastard.

  • Qatar reportedly in talks to own a minority stake in Spurs.

When will UEFA stop this, governments should really stay out of club football.

  • Well played Southampton 2 quality goals. The whole performance was brilliant.

  • Keep going mate. I'm gonna be the same when I eventually get a kick about

Found some form just in time for them to play (checks notes) ah yes, us 😫

  • Cheers. Hopefully I’ll get back to an acceptable level in a couple of months.
