Do you think the “Moonswatch” has caused the price of vintage Omega watches to increase?
I am sure that a couple of years ago you could get a good manual wind omega from the 50s/60s for £350ish, now they all seem to be £500+
That £350 price bracket seems filled with moonswatches. (Using eBay as the main guideline on this)
Maybe the introduction of that range as well as the general price rise through the new ranges has caused it.
I’ve seen it reported that it caused an increase in demand for new Moonwatches, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s had an effect on vintage prices.
But yeah, also inflation / reduction in purchasing power etc.
