I drunkenly ordered a pline in H bar flavour. Have always had S bar. Luckily managed to get the order changed with no hassle.
Black P Line on its way...

Thanks for the input @HoKe and @umop3pisdn.
@sbbohr ; do you have experience of carbon bars failing? I thought it was a popular choice and surely handlebars aren't taking a lot of weight? I'm no expert on carbon..
What options are there for lighter, hi-rise alternatives? -
• #12730
What’s your end goal btw? To make the Brompton lighter, wider or comfort?
-
• #12731
Mainly lighter. Comfort trumps aesthetics. Not thought about wider but maybe that could add comfort.

Have you checked numbers for the relative weight? The aluminium bars are already pretty light. I can't imagine there's much saving to be had if you're replacing like with like.
People gleefully claiming carbon parts will kill or injure you are best muted.

If you want lighter then you’re probably best to look at other areas of the Brompton.
From experience, seatpost, saddle, tyres and pedals will make a huge difference.

Thanks for the advice. Done all those! Maybe I'll leave the bars for now then. Cheers

What’s the weight of your bike now?

True, need to do this with my BB and headset.

Totally cosmetic ( good name for a band?) however, I just put a red mudguard on my Brompton front, and now I would like a different colour for the rear ( black is a colour IMHO) .. anyway if anyone has anything
Much love to the forum

I’m worried it looks a bit like a toy…. But so it goes

Zipped lizards is a better name for a band IMHO.
But that looks good to me.
Not a toy at all.
ETA - It has to be green for the rear guard - for that RGB look. -

Like your thinking

You got green or you are just styling

I would've done this with mine - but I've gone the Hollowtech route.

I’ll take satanic mud guards if that is what has come too

‘It has’ ^

Can we see?

Maybe a simpler question, how can I make my Brompton look more satanic with a rear mudguard colour, affordable, even though I’m not very satanic…. I mean a bit, but most are, being realistic
ha always have been and still are; different angle too!
