My brother lives in Bowdon, near Altrincham. There's a bit of land at the M6/M556 junction with a wood in it. In the wood are the very peculiar remains of some sort of funfair/theme-park/nightmare. My brother's been in Bowdon for 20 years and no one seems to know anything about it and I can't find anything on line.
