There is pay and display round the back on Wilton Way. Tesco Morning Lane has a car park and might be free for a couple of hours.

Installing flat mount brakes onto this fork. Would you file away the powder coat or install on top of paint finish?

It should be faced but I probably wouldn’t be bothered enough unless I had to

Anyone replaces the end caps on a non-eccentric White Industries Eno rear hub recently? I have the 135 endcaps on there. can unscrew one side, but then how do I get the other out? Just keeps winding out the replaced side as the threads appear to be the same way and the bolts only thread into the cap, not the axle.

Sounded like your build had been getting on top of you lately. Is this just a way of getting out of it for a while? 🙂
Hope you heal up quick but enjoy some rest if you can. Just for the record, what kind of ladder related accident did you succumb to?

You’re not the first to suggest this. :(
If that were the goal I think I could probably have come up with some other, less really-flipping-painful excuse that wouldn’t have also stuffed up all the things I do enjoy doing. :((
I was putting the Christmas decs back in the loft and ladder went from under me. I came down on top of it with my leg between two rungs and my weight levered the rungs against my leg. The ladder was strongest, my leg went snappy snappy.
Could have been worse. Also could have been quite a bit better.

That sounds fucking horrible.

That is a nasty one. Hope you heal up quick.

Good summary 💁🏼
Get well soon!

Thanks gize.
Doogie Howser* said I should be fine without the need for an op, tendons not too bolloxed, fairly neat break and all that. We’ll see over the next couple of weeks.
Just off now to inject the first of 42 little syringes of blood thinners into my belly.
. * they’re all Doogie Howser when you’re in your 40s.

The ladder is ok though? And I do hope your baubles came to no lasting harm.
-
• #115690
The ladder will be going in the sea. It wasn’t the baubles fault really.
-
• #115691
Then it will be a swimb ladder.

The ladder will be going in the sea
So you're taking steps to prevent a recurrence?
-
• #115693
Had to do 120 of those when I broke my leg. Absolutely horrific things.
Tighten the skin for easier injection and go in a circle to avoid injecting the same/nearly the same place!
Heal up well.

I’ve not thought about or heard that term since school.
School.
Like fish school.

I'm surprised he floated the idea now

Something something never knew my real ladder something.

Ladders in the sea puns, we're reaching new depths.

we're reaching new depths
Hardly, it's littoral business as usual.

We should climb above the trench of Mariana, might need a longer ladder.
Anyone know somewhere I can park within short walking distance of Hackney Town Hall?
