Would be lovely with some nice metal guards.

My Singular Peregrine, Stridsland fork, Nitto finishing kit etc etc.
Had it years and never fails to make me smile or haul whatever is needed. Just need to fiddle around and get the front guard fitted.

That’s a classy build - what sort of shifting mechanism are you using? I can’t quite tell.

My Cross Check in it’s currently functional guise. Fixed, fendered, racked, dyno lighted, etc. Quite fond of this bike. Fitted larger 37mm WTB tires after this picture was taken.

GX AXS shifter on a Paul components shifter mount.
Not perfect, but very adaptable as I do like to go back to Single speed every now and then.

Looks good! Do you have enough heel clearance with these panniers?

Thanks! I haven’t hit them yet with my big feet. I do run my cleats all the way back, but no issues.

Thanks guys, just got back from a 40mile spin with my Mum (ebike convert, never done any exercise in my memory. Now rides regularly, not bad for a large 60 year old). The bike rides so well, only had it 7 months but it’s a keeper.

Just spotted what seems to be the ´kor dor’ sticker on the lower seattube. Also, what’s the deal with those giant brake pads?

It was my London commuter fixie! Gave the frame away to some messenger when I moved back to Denmark I think.
Brake pads are original to the Frogglegs. I think they are Koolstop maybe. -

That condor is awesome!

Last 2 pages have been great, almost thought I was in bike porn.
These are 27 x 1 1/4” or 32-630. They are sitting at about 34mm wide at 60psi on these weinmann 23mm external rims.
There’s definitely room for a guard in the brake. Probably room for a modern flatter guard under the bridge but I have some really old blumels (pre sks) that I’d like to use and they have a ridge in the centre that pushes the guard down a bit.
