Mate of mine used to save walking to the kitchen in his shared house by boiling pasta in the kettle. Had a coat hanger system to put the sauce in a jar into it too. Same bloke also decided that getting dressed for less than half a day out of the house was silly so he attended lectures at uni in pyjamas and dressing gown.
