Is the seat tube 58 c to c or 58 c to top? What are the clearances like with/without guards?
C to C, so where it meets the top tube.
I've never ridden it with mudguards, but the clearance is pretty reasonable. Without, the max I've used is a 28mm tyre on a nice wide rim (pictured), but it's possible that you'd fit a 32mm in. Don't have one at hand to check though.
