Get some rubber sheet, cut it to the size/shape you want, drill a couple of holes in your mudguard and the rubber and use some small nuts and bolts to attach it, don't tighten too much though.
I have used this in 3mm thickness successfully but I have also got some 2mm, which I haven't used yet.
Handily RAW mudflaps also publishes the size of all their various flaps which you could copy. Or of course you could just buy one of their mudflaps but that's not as fun.

Great suggestions - I thought SKS would have something like this that I could simply clip in to extend. RAW mudflaps look great, thank you wasn't aware of them. Will reach out. Cheers

Search “Raw mudguard flaps” on ebay.

Or, don't buy anything - just look in your recycling bin, find an old plastic bottle, cut 'mudflap' out with scissors and attach as suggested in the second post above.

Plastic flower pot also works for this.

I’ve used cheap, flexible cutting boards of various colors and textures to make flaps. Works great and you can get several flaps from each one.
Hi all
I have SKS mudguards mounted on my commuter. When it's raining, I get lots of mudguard splash onto my shoes which I'd like to avoid so I do not have to wear waterproof shoes all the time.
On my previous commuter I had longboards, however, this one only has the regular sized mudguards. is there some type of extension I can mount onto the mudguards I have to extend coverage? Yes, I could mount a Coke bottle cut in half but I'd rather have something that is more sustainable and looks proper.
Here is a photo of the current setup. Thanks in advance
