I work as a courier and have been wearing these for 2-3 years now:

Stretchy material, crotch and knees are reinforced with a cordura type material. Belt is thin and stretchy so doesn’t irritate my hips. Ankles have elastic tightening so can avoid chain ring.
I could never go back to riding in jeans or dickies.
