I've done two different boxes:
Downloaded cad file from German cargo bike forum, sent to laser cutters in Shoreditch and they cut the pieces to size for £168 including the wood. The box is push fit together pinned with screws, but I fixed the bottom front and back and then used a ratchet strap threaded through to keep the side panels on, the design also includes panels to make kid seats.
Made base board out of HDPE sheet with a jigsaw, you could also use ply, friendly forumer 3d printed these awesome brackets for side panels and I just cut a spare bit of ply to size for the sides.
Green bike is option 1, pink bike is option 2.

Cheers Max, I think the first option is the one I'd go for. I don't have a jigsaw anymore, it gave up on me a while back and I never got it replaced. All I have is a reciprocating saw which is only good for blunt rough work like chopping up logs.
I'm assuming this is where the plans are, somewhere?
https://www.cargobikeforum.de/forum/index.phpI'll take a proper look at it later on today when I'm on my laptop as it's harder on the phone. My German is non existent.
Does anyone have plans for a DIY Bullitt box?
One I could just hand to B+Q to do the cutting, and then drill and screw it together myself.
Doesn't have to be fancy, just functional.
Thanks
