I don't like Zwift. I prefer Trainerroad workouts. I like the progression - the testing generally confirms that I'm getting faster (until I'm not). My main problem with indoor stuff is the duration isn't long enough for what I do (oh and the boozing). But it is convenient to just hit the turbo for 30min-120min without having to worry about flats (normally) or bad drivers (unless they're REALLY bad drivers). Too old, fat and slow now to really bother getting properly fit but I can still put in some effort so as not to embarrass myself.
I need to pull a finger out - got AMR next month and I'm heaviest I've been in a long while and pretty shit off-road generally so yeah, I kinda wish I wasn't so meh about it all.
I'm the opposite. I've lost most of my desire to leave the flat, especially in winter. I did just get back from 3 weeks in Oz though so maybe some of my mojo will return but frankly I got to the point with London that I just can't be fucked with the weather and the drivers.
This might explain why I'm 10kg heavier than I was when I was doing the big miles every week.
