I guess we have quite different opinions on the acceptability of carrying knives then.
(I have a Leatherman mini with a small blade somewhere in the depths of my bike commuting tool kit but that's about it. I simply don't have a need for a knife as part of an every day carry situation and so I don't carry one. Other people's situations may differ obviously.)
Neither of us have any idea, either way, of how that person in the video would/could use the knife.
It's more the fact that I'm surprised to see one so openly displayed in a place where they are specifically prohibited. I wonder what the steward did with it after he'd attempted to cut the zip-tie with it...
