Old tent recycling / donating / disposing

I have an old tent to get rid of, quite decent and functional although there is a slight tear in one of the pole sleeves. It is a big old Wild Country tent that has served us well, it's just now surplus to requirements. Does anyone know options to get rid of it that are at least a slight level above putting in the rubbish - if there is some way that it could be of use to someone that would be good, failing that we would go for recycling of some sort if possible. We're in North London, though would get it delivered somewhere if there was somewhere to send it.

Sure - consider it offered! Happy to explain more about the pros and cons to anyone interested. We were using it up until it was replaced, there's not much wrong with it other than the sleeve issue mentioned and typical signs of age and use. Here's a picture of the inside, can't find one from the outside for some reason. If anyone wants it, we're in N8 for collection or could drop it within a reasonable distance of here.

@theflatboy Did you find anywhere to donate this? I've got what I think is an Argos 2P tent that was used maybe a couple of times and isn't used now that could be sold to fund a donation or donated directly.

No luck so far, I had a good look around but didn't get anywhere so still have the tent at the mo and thinking separating it out and taking to the tip in bits may be only option 😞

Tried a local soup kitchen? Only place I can think of locally that might take it.
