I've found a well timed kick can get the ball plenty far enough and brings some much needed flare to the park. It will ruin white trainers tho...

Congratulations on Lolly. We used a launcher for a bit but i really recommend the large red Kong balls. They're heavier than a tennis ball so you can throw or kick them much further and the bounce and roll further, last longer and clean and dry quicker. I just stick it in the bumbag with Omars other bits and it's fine for running although we're only doing little bursts running around rather than going for a run.

We got Lolly, a 2 year old rescue lab a couple of months ago now. You couldn't ask for a better dog. She loves balls. I love running, but I hate having to carry that ball thrower.
Can anyone think of a hack for me to carry it, along with the lead, which is looped around my torso?
