Jesus buddy, that is rough in many ways. Lot's of folks here (myself included) happy to listen to any rants or ramblings you might have while you make sense of things.

Crap news. Sorry man. Hope you sort it out favourably.

Fucking hell! Really sorry to hear all this and feel sorry for asking now. I hope the operation goes as planned and wish you a speedy physical recovery. I also hope one or both of you are able to live in the house.

Awful news from such an incredible thread. Rest and heal up. As someone who went through a horrible breakup and picked up the banjo to help get through it/back to myself/retain some sanity I highly recommend getting yours back in your hands and if you ever wanna chat about banjo tunes/relationship endings please feel free to shout.

@Creek_Tebsin I hope you heal fast after your surgery, the only way is up from here right?! Very sorry to hear things have been "bumpy" in more ways than one, definitely continue on that self-care path!!

Sorry to hear about your crash. I hope the surgery goes to plan with a fast recovery.
I only discovered this thread today and wow your house is amazing. Something to be very proud of.
If you are in need of distracting while you're laid up, I can look out the usage numbers for our ASHP + PV + battery system that we had installed at the start of July. (Tho we are grid connected). If memory serves, we didn't buy electricity until September (we are in East Lothian)

@Creek_Tebsin
Heal up soon, things will work out in the long run although it probably doesn’t feel like that now 🤜🤛 -
• #716
@Creek_Tebsin. That's a grim start to the year, in more ways than one.
I don't know you irl but wish you the very best. -

I fucking LOVE lufguss!! I was really just looking to answer @andyp and explain the lack of recent updates, but as always I am just blown away by the kindness and support of this community! I don’t quite know how to express it, but thank you so much to all of you.
Surgery went well today, woke up in agony and feels like they chucked every painkiller they could at it. Between that and a few position adjustments it is feeling much better now (Although there will be a few horses in a field somewhere in a lot of pain).
No traction cast either as it’s all pins and screws so I’m starting to try and bend my knee and move my foot in preparation for the physio trying to get me up on a zimmer or crutches tomorrow.🩼 -

sending positive thoughts your way.
glad the surgery went well. -
• #723
Good to hear that surgery went well! Wish you all the best for a speedy recovery.
I really hope that you'll be back on your feet soon and can try to sort out all the other stuff afterwards! As mentioned multiple times, I'm sure things will get better going forward. ;-) -
• #724
Shiiiiit, at least you're getting all the bad stuff out of the way at once! I hope things are looking up for you soon, this can't be the way the most hopeful thread in recent lufguss memory ends!

So sad to read this. Wishing you the quickest possible recovery. It will all work out in the end.
Fuuuk. That’s awful man, really sorry about the bad luck ☹️ sending good vibes. Don’t stay in Aberdeen any longer than you have to!
I’ve broken a few things and put some tools through my hands but it’s always worked out ok, I can still make stuff and cycle and run as much as I want despite a few titanium screws and nails. I reckon you’ll be back on your feet in a surprisingly short amount of time. I bet the yoga and taking care of your mental health will be a huge help in recovery.
