What are the thoughts of putting automatic watches in an ultrasonic cleaner? I'm sure mine could so with a good clean??
-
• #68983
Do not do it.
Unless you mean one that’s been dismantled and you know how to re-mantle it.

@Tenderloin if only it was an XL model i could wear it as well, then again my wifes wrist would be as big as mine so...

Never found an XL one to try on - I regret not being arsed to visit the Knightsbridge store when they had one in stock as it’s a really cool model

Looks like Omega may have a new material for their hairspring?? Also, they quietly added a micro adjustment to the new bracelet on the Speedmaster.

Is anyone interested in an unworn 1861 Moonwatch? , probably amongst the last sold ( may 2020 I believe)
Will be cheaper than a current 3861 ( which we all know is not a moonwatch !!) but not sure by how much yet. -
• #68998
Am just selling an Ed White, if you still have the 1861 next week, I might be tempted

Cool , message me when you know.
I haven’t actually seen in the flesh yet. But is a client of mine who prevaricated about buying it when it was the last I had and I sold that one and he got the last one Goldsmiths had in Oxford. -
