Most sitcoms manage to get to the fourth or fifth season before all of the characters inevitably defaults to parody caricatures.
Having that happen in the first five minutes is painful to watch. It screeches from farcical situation to farcical situation, and I struggle to suspend my disbelief when all of the action is so consistently utterly unrealistic.
There are some really funny bits, but their drowned in the constant cringe.
Motherland.
It's been started from the beginning again.
Halfway through the first episode, and I want to put a brick though the television.
