  • I'm getting ill - sore throat, fatigued and tender glands in my neck. Today is 8.1km race pace. I should skip it, right? Or replace it with 8.1km jog? My partner had this a couple weeks ago and it took her an age to shake. Trying to mentally prepare myself for theast 2.5 weeks of this plan being totally derailed.

  • I would stack of any exercise until you are over the worst of it.

  • There are always future races. Take a step back and do what you are able. Sounds like your body is letting you know.

  • +1 R&R give yourself chance to fight it off. Frustrating but there'll be other races and this training block will still benefit the next block.

  • How're you getting on?
