solid build. and good looking colorwise.

the pink one with the blue elox parts is my fave so far.

had to do my own version with those ritchey bars.

brake holes are a bit strange... can't use the brakes when wheels is in most forward position...

just really tight. nothing to do with the bb7 as i can tell so far.
180mm disc for now works ok. edit: in the pic it is a 160mm disc.

Zooming in suggests that might be a front IS mount adaptor - "F180". Front and rear IS adaptors aren't identical...

that might be true. but the main problem is that the adapter and the brake hit the seatstays.
as said for now it works ok with the 180mm disc.

Sure - but I think my point still stands; a rear adaptor is a different shape, which ought not to hit the seatstay, and which should position the caliper such that it doesn't hit them either.

What's this colour changing wizardry towards and including the head tube?

yes, it's the ti inbred. my guess 2009. 2010 they allready had the gusset/pipe between seat- and chainstays (NDS). bought 2nd hand. like i did understand they did this to the frame.

Many ragrets selling my SS 26er for pittance, it was so much fun.
CK HS & BB, Crabon bars, cheap wheels, £10 frame.

This looks awesome. No such thing as a £10 inbred frame any more I don't think.

Yeah it was stupid fun, although I should have added a chain tensioner as aligning disc and axle was a PITA. Frame was a bike jumble gem though; I sold the bike about 5 years ago.

Although - an old STW thread about (steel) Inbred issues points out that Shimano F180s and R160s aren't quite the same (unlike some brands which may allow you to use both) - and mentions the front adaptor needing shimming out by 1mm, away from the stays, towards the wheel.

Nice that Inbred Ti29er. I have one of these frames. Bought new in 2007. They really are a fantastic riding bike. I have kept it down the years as it rides so nice. Had it sent back to Lynskey under warranty to be repaired twice (cracks on headtube junction and wishbone stay) . Even sold it, regretted that and bought it back.

Aside from the lovely polished and coloured frame mine has a few very subtle differences. Tubes the same but drop outs and cable routing different.

I seem to remember when they came out the issue with rear caliper clearance on larger rotors was mentioned. Especially with BB7s. I think they said 140/160 rear only because of that.

Edit: Yes it was because most brakes in those days were still IS mount (eg Hope Mono Minis), BB7s were some of the first post mount brakes.

Ha ha I need some forks, and to be injury free. All my bikes, except the Town Crier, are in boxes in bits. It will happen.....
