Some really bad lazy photos while it’s on the bike.
Although I’ll hold back for another day or two before selling while I mess about with saddle position some more to try make it work.
I’ll update before the weekend

Price for both stem and saddle?

Making one last attempt at finding someone who would swap my zero offset post for your 20mm set back.
Anyone? -
• #7
I know you want to swap but I’d possibly be keen to buy the post. PM me a price if you’d consider selling.

Sorry, I should have edited the first post to be clearer.
I’d probably rather not sell since they cost mental money new.
If I find a set back for sale at a reasonable price I’d probably buy it then sell my in-line but I don’t want to sell before I have a replacement. -

I might have one- let me check tomorrow

I have a deda superzero carbon 25mm setback pob 27.2 post? It's going in a sales thread otherwise anyway.

Thanks but I’m a bit tarty and would like to maintain the matchy match with the zipp stem!

• #12
That would be absolutely amazing if you do ta

Thought as much. Just putting off starting the thread...

Got a service course sl with slight setback which I’d part exchange but that would be a downgrade for you
Edit, just seen how much the speed SL’s are…!
-
• #15
I know… it’s hard to imagine what sort of idiots pay these prices 🙈
I’m starting to wonder if I should just get an alloy zipp post and bank some money selling the speed sl post and stem 😂
Is your post 20mm set back?
-
• #16
That’s prob your best bet.
Mine looks like this but doesn’t say what the flippin setback on it is. Looks less than 20mm anyway. I’m currently using it at the moment so i won’t get rid until I replace. (Excuse dark pic, I literally just took it)

I have an S Works 27.2 seatpost on my Tarmac that I’m looking to swap out for an inline post. Interested in a swap?

I’d argue the SWorks Carbon post is the best ‘normal’ carbon post going - its ears are the most flexible (in saddle rail compatibility standards), easy to micro adjust and so secure, and it’s aesthetics the most pleasing / graphics most minimal.
Not too heavy and takes a di2 battery like a champ.
Other than Darimo for special purposes, I’ve got one on every bike, even chosen over an MCFK for the Open.
If you can manage the mis-match I’d do it! -

I wouldn’t make a direct swap but let me know if you want to sell it.

I think you’re right. I had set back s-works post that I sold last year for fairly cheap. Now obvs want what I sold :(
The clamp system is pretty good, the only thing the zipp does differently/better is that one clamp fits both alloy and carbon rails.
The only reason I wouldn’t want a direct swap is that the zipp stuff holds it’s value pretty well on eBay, people are daft enough to pay it.
If I have to, I’ll probably put the stem and post up for sale on eBay :( -

I think you’re probably best off selling the Zipp and then buying what you want. I’ll likely do the same and by an in-line S Works.

S-works post and my Hyperstem sounds like a great combination to me ;)

Hahah I've been thinking about that stem a lot!
It's too long for my gravel bike but I run 120 on my road bike.
However my road bike stem is another zipp speed sl in 120 that I'm kind of committed to because of the face plate with an integrated out front Garmin mount thingy...I'll sleep on it but I suppose I really do just have to make a decision.
Zipp Speed SL 27.2 seat post 400mm zero set back
Ideally I’d swap this for the same post but with 20mm setback or maybe a carbon Specialized post.
It’s the 2019 version with the much less garish stealth graphics.
I’ve also got a matching 110mm speed sl stem that I could maybe sell together if anyones keen
