that might be true. but the main problem is that the adapter and the brake hit the seatstays. as said for now it works ok with the 180mm disc.
Sure - but I think my point still stands; a rear adaptor is a different shape, which ought not to hit the seatstay, and which should position the caliper such that it doesn't hit them either.
