Well how about that
Just hand us the trophy now.

Even Haaland’s fouls are worldies. That sliding tackle was spectacular.

Chelsea have gone backwards. Forest deserved to win that. Potter needs to improve things quickly. Silva, kepa and Zakaria the only players who stood out. What Chaloba needs to do to play i have no idea. Koulibali looks slow and out of his depth.
I can't see what Potter is trying to set up at the moment.
Rant over. -

He’s had what, ten games in charge? Plus a mid-season break for a lot of the squad. Given the state of the team, don’t you think it’d make sense to give him time to make structural changes, rather than getting rid at the earliest opportunity and being back at square one?

i know hes not been there long its just frustrating as the same problems have been there from when tuchel was in his downward spiral. I want it to work for Potter i really do but i cant see what he is trying to change. Im just annoyed at such a spineless performance yesterday ( bar a few players.)

Lolerpool.

most disappointing, brentford didn't score any goals for us in todays match, how are we expected to beat them if they won't score for us

21 from 24 points and we’re 9th (4pts off 3rd).
Amazing how shit Bruce actually was.
-
• #164060
a) what was all that phone light nonsense?
b) why don't you play Liquidator before kick off any more?
c) well played, should have won by more really -

Amazing how shit Bruce actually was.
Ha - yes.

Phone thing is a protest against the owner (alongside the actual one on Halfords Lane after the game).
He’s taken loans from the club and missed repayment dates. Alongside not funding transfers etc.
Liquidator stopped earlier in the season for some reason. It hasn’t been a staple since Bilic though; seems to come and go. If we keep winning, I don’t even give a tiny shit.
Your keeper kept you in the game in the first 30 mins. Was expecting a bigger game tbh.

Amazing that Blackburn are still third with negative goal difference and still not drawn a game yet

We looked a bit knackered after 3 games in 6 days. Remember we are still under a transfer embargo so the whole squad is academy graduates, free transfers, loanees and any remaining players that no-one else wanted to buy. We are punching massively above our weight this season, Ince has done a great job.
(As you know this is the legacy of Ron Gourlay's horrendous mismanagement)
-
• #164065
Yeah, Gourlay can get in the fucking sea along with Lai.
Cunt.

It’s an insane league.
Looking forward to / dreading our meeting later this month.

Last few games we've won whilst being put under a lot of pressure where we'd have drawn earlier in the season. You can see that Kompany is learning match by match.
-
• #164068
don’t you think it’d make sense to give him time to make structural changes,
Hmmm. He's got the same team as Tuchel with some supposed "improvements". He suffers from Chilwell and James injuries as before but has managed to add to them. He demonstrates no tactical nor strategic nous. He doesn't inspire players.
Saying that he should be given time is rather like Chelsea singing "we want you to stay" to Wenger for the last few years of his career.

wahey
proper football is back
coyrsMONDAY 2ND JANUARY

Sack him then. And continue being shit.
Times have changed, Clive, and Chelsea haven’t.

I always found the hype about Potter a bit strange. He'd done OK at Brighton but nothing great.
-
• #164072
Didn't he take a Swedish club from 4th tier to the first tier, winning cups and progressing in Europe? that's pretty balling. Achieving brighton's highest ever league finish in their history is also not to be sniffed at. I'd much rather see him promoted than ex-players with no track record (or minimal experience managing reserve sides etc) parachuted in...

Potter is a good manager but it's also the setup at Brighton that brought success. Dan Ashworth is the key.
He took us to 8th in the PL before leaving with Hodgson to England and he's done the same with Brighton. Moved to Newcastle in Feb of this year and will definitely be a large part of their turnaround too.

“Preacher man”

Perhaps Potter should be given the England job then?
Didn't he dig out Xavi for playing in Qatar?
