Yes but I was wrong, this filament is 40% wood.
Smells of wood, easy to sand. Easy to print. The only downside is that it wears your print nozzle a bit but nozzles are cheap.
Edit: can take stain and polish too apparently.

The "wood" PLA I've used is bamboo fibre and the colour varies according to the print temperature. This was a few years ago (early covid lockdown) and the world has probably moved on?
It takes spirit based stains quite well and accepts polyurethane varnish - water based acrylic varnish tends to bead and looks cloudy when dry.
Photo is clearly not knife related, but does show how a stain can pick out the print layers to give a wood(ish) effect.
