Does anyone know if you can fit a SRAM/Quarq DZero aluminium GXP crankset in a Kreissäge frame (old model)?
http://byka.info/component/cranksets/360.1001.89
https://standert.de/products/kreissage-rim-leadout-lemon-complete-bikeI asked them, and they told me you can fit any BB if you buy the frame, but only T47 if you buy the complete bike.

Then the frame is T47 and yes but you'll just need a T47 bb that fits Sram/gxp
There are a couple but they're not super common -

or any shimano compatible T47 BB and those gxp convertors on NDS

If anyone jumped on the Kreissage RS release today, I’ve got a BNIB Deda dcr stem in 120 that I didn’t end up using and waited too long to return, nice price etc
-
• #134
I did not, sadly. Are you still enjoying yours though?
-
• #135
Yeah, it’s great fun. And most importantly gets asked about at cafe stops more than any other bike I’ve had

Would love a pathfinder but import brexit blx makes it totally impractical.

• #137
Well I like it.

Nearly entered the raffle until I realised i'd have to fork out 12,000EUR if I 'won'.
-
• #139
Lol yeah. "Raffle" seems to have a different meaning in German.
-
• #140
1 in 5 commitment but what if they don't have your size ? Surely distance selling regs would cover you.
-
• #141
Surely no one is entering a raffle to have the chance to pay up to €14k for one of these, as nice as the paint looks
-
• #142
My guess is they end up either a couple of timezones to the east or the west. No one in their right mind would fork out that amount for a “mass produced” frame.
You could get a pretty descent custom steel frame, snazzy paint and top end components for that wad. -

And we say this as people who have bought standerts

I’m sure in the world of mums net and silvercross their must be ltd editions.

I preferred Brother’s 10th anniversary bikes which everyone could buy and were the same price
-
• #147
Just can’t work out the valuation. What’s confusing me is that I paid less for both of mine together & one of them is 9270 & eurocarbon. Must be that custom OSPW
-
• #148
Tbf if you add it up, the frame comes in around a grand. They've just put silly spenny builds on.
Ceramic speed BB and OSPW, full Enve, 3d printed saddle, power meter groupset, Enves on Chris Kings.
Still mad tho -

Just recieved my Kreissäge (Paceline Peach)
Should be interesting to see how this frame rides and if its worth the hype. It's a beautiful frame though, so no complaints there. Still trying to figure out if i was clever to buy this instead of a compliant carbon frame.
For those wondering about the sizing (I know i did) i decided to go 56 (M) with my 1,82. It was between that or 54 which in the end seemed a bit too steep. This frame runs a bit small.
Might do a build thread if anyone is curious, even though it's gonna be built up pretty vanilla

That would be good and as i have said before they would be competitive in the uk where it not for the brexit downfall.
Looks lovely!
