  • Yeah, but Wilf misjudged it all got greedy and well fucked it.

  • Aaron gets a lot of love in this house. The other two? Less so.
He was great in the tasks.

  • Just caught up as couldn't watch last night.
Agree with all the above. An after reaction would have been good.
That last showed how the tension had racked up in Wilf. One less back stab and he could have got half. In the end we were happy Aaron got through and sussed it.
Superb telly. Next series will be good in a more calculated way and then will get a bit grim before moving to c5.

  • Glass Onion es no bueno

  • Yeah I'm afraid I gave up on it after 40 mins, just wasn't interested in the slightest and it was so try hard funny

  • The first hour dragged and then there a gear change and you think "here we go" and then it collapsed again in some truly shit special fx.

  • The traditional Rian Johnson way, annoyingly. Had the choice of re-doing a good Agatha Christie, but failed on basically everything. Quite sad, because Daniel Craig is actually quite good in the role!

  • James Bond Leghorn.

  • Well I thought the Detectorists Christmas Special was pretty good.

  • No spoilers please. Didn’t manage to watch it tonight.

  • Yeah. Lovely to revisit.

  • Just watched the final, and I can't believe they all still came out loving Wilf with not even a thankful nod to K for tipping them off.

"hey guys I kept you in because I liked you and wanted you to win, not because I thought I could mug you off, honest."

  • Well I thought the Detectorists Christmas Special was pretty good.

Really? My wife and I were taken aback at how shit it was.

  • It was very safe. I think it's done now though, didn't really add anything new.

  • Bit late to it but really enjoyed Bad Sisters on Apple TV+

  • I was in two minds. I’ve watched the series multiple times but don’t feel an urge to rewatch this episode. I thought Lance was out of character but some of the other stuff worked well.
Ghosts, however, didn’t let me down.

  • Ghosts, however, didn’t let me down.

    The ghosts special was amazing.

  • I said the same thing! There was literally no point in it existing!

  • Severance.

Just binged it. I am so very unfulfilled right now.

Also, Adam Scott looks like a Lidl Tom Cruise.

  • Motherland.

It's been started from the beginning again.

Halfway through the first episode, and I want to put a brick though the television.

  • I am so very unfulfilled right now

Due to the storyline? I assume it ended with more questions than answers? Currently only seen the first episode and I'm on the fence about it.

  • 8.5 episodes of - oooh, i like where this is going, and it's very engaging, I like the characters and acting, I wonder how it's going to be wrapped up.

Then 0.5 of an episode of tenseness and oh, fucking look, it's fucking not being rapped up, it's a fucking cliffhanger made of loose ends.

  • Just watched Somewhere Boy on whatever channel 4 player calls itself now and would recommend. Discovered it's by the same team who did The End of the F...ing World which makes sense. Watch that if you haven't already.

  • Me too then went on to Slow Horses and just this week did season 2.
if you haven't seen it then don't be put off by the low budget mission impossible opening 10min as it's not indicative of the whole series plus Gary Oldman is superb.

  • Just finished series 2 this evening. Echo what you had to say.
