  • Presenting to you the Lee Rigby Memorial Chest Freezer.

Found in "Churchills Munchies" expat shop in Thailand.

The owner seemingly not bothered or aware that Rigby's family have asked people to stop using his image to fuel racism or Islamophobia.

Possible extra WTF points for the fact that Winston Churchill became such a fan of Islam that his family were briefly worried that he'd convert.

Expat shops, bars and restaurants do seem to have a certain clientele.

  • My early encounters with expats here were always a bit of an eye opener. People who'd hardly set foot in the UK for 20 years explaining how shit their lives were and they couldn't wait to "go home" ... whilst living in big houses, multiple cars, expensive meals and holidays etc. Decrying immigration to the UK as a problem whilst living abroad but they weren't immigrants, they were expats.. twats.

I don't mind people calling themselves expats, as long then extend that courtesy to every migrant.
