thanks for the info!
as above, i've got an S bar. checked SJS- looks like Milian bryant adapters are M or M/H only.
is this game over?or if i get these bad boys ( https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/handlebars/joseph-kuosac-handlebar-for-bromptons-mid-rise-254mm-clamp-black/ *) and some longer cables, would that sufficiently increase stack height?
- When fitted to an S type stem the height position is the same as an M type. – Use M type cables.

this may have been covered before somewhere, but cldnt find anything....
what's the deal with carrying a child on a brompton? i have a 2021 S6L. the bairn is 15 months and c10kg. anyone done it? any brompton experts on here got any views on load bearing capacity of stem etc..?
here are some options:
1) conventional bike seat mounted on stem (thule or bobike)-
https://www.reddit.com/r/Brompton/comments/sya8td/could_not_find_much_information_about_having_a/
or
https://www.footloops.sg/products/rad-adapter-bobike-one-mini-for-brompton
issues seem to be- load bearing on stem, knee clearance, but good points- proper seat w/ harness etc.
2) seat mounted on seat post/top tube
https://www.comptoncycles.co.uk/m5b0s256p9113/MILIAN-PARTS-PERE / https://www.bikabout.com/blog/the-it-chair-for-bromptons
or
https://www.bromptonic.com/products/brompton-child-seat
these seem structurally better for the bike and allow folding but no harness for the kid.
cheers
