Reynolds 653 Joe Waugh frameset here - no mudguard mounts though but plenty of tyre clearance (have tried 700x30s on and all ok).
I suspected some rot to one of the fork blades so sanded back and it's all OK, just worth pointing out as there's a patch of bare metal!
oh, just read you're looking for vertical dropouts... these are horizontal! sorry

Thanks for the offer! Vertical would be ideal but not firmly wedded to it - if you get a chance do feel free to fire over a photo
Otherwise still looking - found a banging Giant Peleton but it’s all the way up in Bolton :(

Here you go, these were taken before I sanded the fork down a bit...

That’s rad, rust notwithstanding! Whatcha looking for price wise?
-
• #8
I could do it for £100 including postage? Probably via Parcelforce 👍

Sweet, will sleep on it and let you know asap!

Will pass on this for now, but thank you anyway - I just know my very damp garage will not play nice with existing rust and/or exposed metal!

Bump with a change of scope - anyone holding an old Randonneur?
-
• #12
If you're still interested in the Giant Peleton, and it's still available, I'll be up in Bolton over the crimble break (sister lives there), I'm more than happy to pick it up then post it to Bristol for you, no charge, just cover the postage.

Oh wow, thanks so much for the kind offer! Have found something very cool locally now, but huge thanks anyway

No problem.
Hope there's going to be a CP thread for your new build, sounds right up my street. -

Will do! Here's a quick peek...

Ooh, fancy paint job.
Indexed or friction shifters? -

Indexed currently, but all change! https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/382486/
Wild change of plans here - digging through the garage last night uncovered most of the parts I need for a drop-bar-bar-end-rando-type bike, so now looking for a frame to stick it all on
Ideal would be a later Raleigh Randonneur or Dawes Galaxy, but not that fussy. Frame or full bike is fine. Am Bristol based but will travel. Cheers!
