I don't know enough about JLC to know whether it's a reasonable price or not.
Does seem like an awful lot of watch when you compare it to the 10k Milgaus it's sitting next to.

Well thats true, I wanted a Milguas when they relaunched it and thought then that £5k was a lot.. damn it

The moon phase that someone on here has is the pick of that range in my opinion. Still a lovely watch.

Not really my bag - it’s got some wonk to it with the empty running seconds and numerals only at 12 and 9 - but I probably like it more than the modern versions (which have Times New Roman on them).
Price does seem punchy but I don’t really know what they go for.

I've wanted a watch with a GMT complication for years now, I suppose the JLC answer to that is the Master Geographic - I'd want to see one in person though as they're quite, erm, busy.

My view is that this is the pick of the big faced dressy watches second hand. Two hander mind.

I'd probably not wear a watch that makes me think of cheese tbh.

The newish GMT version has been extremely popular. It has a pusher to show/hide the second hour hand under the main hour hand. It’s a bit spartan even for my taste but PF make very high quality watches (as reflected in the price).

• #68813
That is lovely and as you say reflected in the price £23k

Thanks, I think I prefer it to that complicated one too. For some reason I’m not a fan of power reserve indicators.

Quite partial to a power reserve needle. Hmmm Am I looking at the wrong watch again... Damn it..
Ok Lotto time and then buy all the different ones I want so that I can cover off all the different thoughts I have.

Manifested, and a Sinn 556i appeared locally for a great price.
Will have to wait until after the holidays to pick it up though ;( -

I need help sourcing a gold bracelet for a Rolex. My wife would like to swap out the leather one... This is going to be costly! But I'm not sure if it's a 17mm or 16mm that's needed? Any ideas? Aftermarket is ok but genuine gold plated would be good, rather than gold coloured anodised. Thanks in advance.
