Can anyone point me in the direction of a decent guide for dismantling and cleaning a Dyson V6? The battery in mine now lasts about 30 seconds so want to see if cleaning it makes any difference.
I found the aftermarket battery I bought better than the original in our V6. IME Dysons need to be cleaned properly to work properly. The red plastic guard/filter bit is a cunt to get off and on to clean out the cyclone mouldings.
Did you get round to doing this? I'm about to take mine apart and give it a good clean and new filter. I ordered a new Dyson battery for mine as it was £60 and if it gives me another five years service seems worth it.
