I bet every frothy mouth gammon would take full advantage of an advantageous collectively bargained pay deal via a well resourced negotiating team to ensure their jobs are secure and well paid.

It's interesting how it's all the unions/members fault and not much (any) recognition that it takes two parties to negotiate and come to a compromise/solution.
