Cheers 👍
The Snowflake is an interesting one - it has been made the poster child for GS because of the dial (which is undoubtedly the reason they make so many heavily textured dials now) and the unique spring drive movement, I guess, but IMO it is just too big and thick as a watch despite the lighter weight of the titanium case. Nice dial, but pretty much everything else misses the mark for me.
I think the newer Evolution 9 series watches are much better watches of that type. Although they are more expensive of course.
The GS I've liked the least in person is the SBGE271. Thought it looked awful, really poor proportions and actually quite cheap-looking.
@jbwilliamz and @regal - beauties both, you lucky tykes.
I got to try on some Grand Seiko for the first time last weekend and I now better understand the hype - was unexpectedly disappointed by the Snowflake (although that might be because they left plastic film on the sapphire) but hugely impressed by the rest.
