Baltic HMS 002 looks nice to me. 38mm but 47mm lug to lug so probably wears a bit bigger.

There are a few other Seikos apart from the Cocktail Times. E.g. you can get certain enamel dialled Presage models for under a grand.

I think I "need" a dress watch, but in chainbreaker appropriate sizing (~40mm but thinner than a dive watch)
