Neat! Been meaning to make one as well. Is the base wide enough to get out of the saddle? Any reason for not turning it the other way?

Base is blenty wide enough when you consider the support is normally a tyre. The turbo can still rock a little, it's good the base isn't too wide as it can rock with the bike without stressing joins (but I'm not an engineer).
NDS crank? There is some old electric tape on there to cover the Stages, probably had to lock it up outside sometime
