i have spent too long trying to work out what this is supposed to be suggesting. can I risk exposing my stupidity and guess you mean Pullman is establishment and you interpret his comments as angsty/anxious about either what Clarkson write or that Murdoch published it, or both, and you find that funny? I think I am on the side of the ‘establishment’ here if that is the case, although that feels weird because i didn’t realise either i or pullman had establishment views, which is why I am confused!
