  • 2 sets of Delta brakes and a pair of Power Grade levers which were designed to try and deliver some modulation to the beautiful but otherwise wooden-feeling Deltas.

First us a set of the later C-Record 3-pivot design (referring to the number of pivots in the internal mechanism), later because of the O-ring cable adjusters (earlier were knurled). Not the best Delta design mechanically (5-pivot) but we all know that if you want to stop quickly you don't buy Deltas, nor haul that extra weight around. Nice condition, gaters a bit grubby but will clean up a bit, likewise the internals, I've not put much effort into cleaning them. Return springs on front calliper a bit sloppy but can be remedied by someone with patience. Anyway, they work. £200 SOLD

Second up a set of Croce D'Aune Deltas, these are the later (better) 5-pivot design but Delta purists are always dismayed by the external return springs, which on these are showing a bit of corrosion, but they work as well as any Deltas and better than 3-pivot ones. Someone has machine polished the covers thereby removing the anodised logos, but it does mean they are now bare alloy and can be mirror polished again without much effort. £175

Finally, no Deltas are complete without a set of the special 'Power-Grade' brake levers, which have adjustable cable pull via an allen screw accessed via that hole in the front. These are very clean, slight scratching on edges of blades from leaning against things but barely noticeable. Hoods generally good, albeit slight sign of perishing starting to appear on the horns, but NOS or repro hoods of this design easily available (and in other colours). £75

I have another pair of levers in not so nice condition but can't locate them right now, they would be around the £50 mark - if interested I will have a concerted deep dive. They currently have slightly grubby off-white-ish hoods.

Collection from SE1/Waterloo or can post, but if you want them posted I suggest you wait until after xmas madness, a small deposit will secure.
