Fair point. But it's a mentality Argentina seem to bring to every world cup and I really dislike it. Much as you have admire Messi, I couldn't want them to win as I don't like seeing shithousery as you call it succeeding.

I’m not a fan of it at all (although if it favoured my team then all bets are off!), just find it impressive that someone can have the presence of mind to play these games at the most crucial moments while not negatively affecting their actual performance.
