The guy in my photo has his birthday on Monday, this was his ‘birthday ride’ that he’d organised. He’s a very very capable enduro rider - ex-motocrosser and fast road rider. He was happy as anything that we went out, as all the others in Swindon cried off.
The four others were part of the group I met with at ABR and Sweet Lamb; they were over to do a rally event thing so yesterday was a play day before they try to follow the roadbook today.
You’re right that concentration levels are high. I was totally pooped by the time I got home, and this morning muscles ache that haven’t ached all year!

Sounds eventful. Well done for getting a few friends together and actually going out in it. Imagine concentration levels are at an all time high trying to not die at every turn. Great picture though!
