You might find a Bell & Ross BR V1-92 second hand within budget, but tbh there aren’t that many watches that nail that brief as well as the Sinn 556 does, especially if you don’t want a Seiko. The Squales are good though.

Have you tried one on before? I was surprised at how chonky it was. So ymmv with that. Definitely recommend trying to buy one used though. The current RRP is high for what you’re getting - in my opinion - compared to the RRP of yesteryear.

I’ve been after a 656 for a long time, but just can’t find the right one. If no luck, I’d get a 556A. If you buy 2nd hand, you can get nice examples well under £1k. I think @inchpincher owns a 556i?
But yeah, definitely get the Sinn. Or a Damasko… -

Thinking of getting a Sinn 556i as a daily. Any similar looking alternatives for £1000-£1300 that isn't a Seiko or Microbrand? Sub 39mm.
