• Rapha is actually not expensive and quite nice

If you want toast there’s Paul rothe and son on Marylebone lane which is brilliant - quite a wide range of jams

On a separate note, I went to bodeans for the first time in 10 years last week and have no idea why I left it so long. Has not changed and was brilliant. A good lunch, sat down in Soho for £10 including tip is a bargain imo.

The last time I went to bodeans was ten years ago and it was really disappointing how much smaller their portion sizes were compared to when it was in its heyday. Hopefully that's changed for the better.

Food was excellent, just more expensive and less of it. Particularly with the fries.

  • yeah, fries portions weren't as big as I remembered and the red baskets have gone and there's fewer tvs but for the money it's still great and I was surprised how it'd slipped my mind having gone there nearly weekly a decade ago. actually went on my first date with my (now) wife
