Are there many pubs in centralish London with dartboards nowadays? I can only really think of the Old China Hand and that seems to have started charging.

I can’t speak for London, but the number of pubs round here who have either shut or ditched their boards and turned in gastro joints is really sad. 10 years ago we had enough teams to run two leagues with 8-10 teams in each and currently have one league with 5 teams in it.

that seems to have started charging.
That sort of stuff can get to fuck as well.

14 year old Luke Littler currently playing on the main stage at Lakeside in the WDF worlds. Looks about 21 tbf, but he's pretty handy. Worth a watch if anyone has eurosport.
Edit: seems he’s had a birthday since I last checked, so 15 years old.

The kid took out 126 for the match. Ridiculous.

Jarred Cole through to the WDF last 16 as well. He played in my local league for a few seasons when he was 16/17. Battered everyone, be nice to see him do well.

seeing this thread pop up reminded me I wanted a dart board.
Ordered a Mission Samurai 2, tripod stand, rubber oche and a set of arrers.
I'll be hit (ninety) 9 dart finishes in no time. Also ^^ wac indeed.

Beau Greaves giving it a great go at the worlds right now. Forget Sherrock, Greaves will be the big name in women’s darts for the next 10-15 years.

My ex bank manager and I stayed in touch after he took redundancy, he still competes for the bank team. Invited me to play for NatWest as a ringer. I’d never played competitively ever. But enjoyed the evening. Two pubs on Leman St have regular darts leagues. The Black Horse several boards upstairs and Brown Bear next to the bar. The Horseshoe in Clerkenwell might still have a board.I’ve also wanted a dart board and arrows for home. Mrs M is not impressed.

Cheers. Will have a look at those.
Used to have one at my old place but not quite agreed where it can go in the new place.

Brilliant, my Italian OH said, 'It's true, that's what we sound like. It's called enthusiasm.'

Not sure if anyone followed the UK open over the weekend, it was pretty incredible. If you follow the sport you'll know Gilding, but no one expected this. This made me smile a lot: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/darts/64876162

No issues for my 13 year old blade 4. Probably used almost daily for a good 4-5 of them. It’s been rotated plenty of times as you can see, but for the casual player it’ll last ages. If you can afford a winmau, I’ve always found them to be excellent quality.
