those things are very common where I live, often made with supermarket aluminium frames.
Nothing says "I lost my license" like a drunk man in his 40s riding a kids 24" mountain bike fitted with an 80cc motor -

Yep I see a couple of these regularly. One of them comes up and down our road. You normally hear it about 30 seconds before you see it, noisy, noisy thing.

Seen these advertised in bad CAD renders from Chinese sellers
Quite surreal to see one ‘in the flesh’
Makes most BSOs seem sensible

it's like the only design drawings they had were an 8yr old childs drawings of bikes drawn from memory

there's one of these in my work lock-up, sans front wheel, and it haunts me

Clearly you need to be introduced to the beautiful world of Helliot Bikes. I've seen so many of them irl, it's baffling

Seen one in the flesh. I could not understand the physics behind its weight. heavier than two heavy bikes.

Like the commitment to being in the drops (as long as you don't need to change gear).
Who needs light when you're that aero? -

Moutain Wolf, Pro something something and they're all the same, so shit that we no longer take them in.
Bright eyed new recruits though would, say they'll do it at lunch or after work.
2 hours at least in each instance and the brakes can't be set up correctly.
Sometimes you'll just have to let them fall to learn...

I remember, as a bright eyed new recruit, my first and only time offering to service a shagged supermarket bike. It was basically impossible, a never-ending catastrophe, a puzzle that kept on giving.

Spotted a very similar thing not too long ago in Edinburgh. Utterly terrifying.
