  • Thought I'd give this another try, still not a fan

  • Ranger with bracelet is on my list.

  • Tried on yesterday, still not sure if this or another bike, but I really love the Speedy moon watch -

  • Can check the spec for them here:

    https://heritage1854.com/

It usually has a service manual for the older movements so can see how to strip them back. A good resource.

  • Gosh so nice. I forgot to bid on my seventies dream watch. Edit, what reference is it? Maybe that's nicer in stainless than the eterna I didn't get.
But got this for someone else.
Probably 10 years later and quite fun.

  • Currently saving up for that exact watch, need a simple classic G-Shock solar in my life.

  • no snow here in Suffolk

I'm not surprised: you must be in Suffolk, Zimbabwe judging by the time difference.

  • I've been wearing my Garmin fr45 non-stop for the last 6 months. Thought I'd change it up đŸ™ƒ

  • Thanks. Apparantly a Ref: 166.0192.
A bit of a slab on my skinnny wrists too.

  • When I realised the watch time and date was wrong haha

  • :)

Was that Robert Gatward you were window shopping in?

  • hahaha, yes indeed it was.. Still not sure, Ranger or Speedy but then the calling of a more road geo bike is calling too

  • Thanks, you too!

  • heh, I was there trying out Chronomats

    something something Sliding Doors

  • Good news I've just had my final bid on eBay from last night accepted for a watch I've been after and it's sweet.
Bad news i can't really afford it. I was excited now reality has kicked in and and i feel a bit sick. Never browse watches after a couple of drinks đŸ˜¬
Anyone want to buy a Squale 1521, Argon 18 Nitrogen maybe a Kidney cheap? I need to get into damage limitation mode now on this one.

  • Forgot to post this last week. Local OB finally got a red one in, and as suspected it’s my favourite colour of the range by far.

I had my FOIS with me though and the longer lug to lug of the’57 was quite obvious. The FOIS wears slightly better on my wrist.

Still, a very nice watch with a lovely movement. Eight grand on a bracelet, mind.

  • If you're interested, I've got a Casio Sport Watch GW-B5600HR-1ER that just doesn't get worn now I've got my yellow peril. It's this one:

It's three years old but been incredibly babied and probably worn less than 30 times, so still looks in great nick. Yours (or anyone else's) for £50 plus post if you like?

  • Hahaha, yes wish I had gotten some round the other side before they went up as much as they have done.

I have 3 in mind - Ranger, Speedy or AW Ultra but can't decide or to go bike route.

Wish I had kept my Navitimer or Speedy now etc

  • Slab seems apt! That's one very straight case.
Will see if I can find a bracelet for my Tissot Navigator when ist serviced.
