Barley used Benno for sale here (not mine): https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/385245161197?hash=item59b266a6ed:g:3mAAAOSwII9jdkNp&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAAoNFmKFtyUCRNBcU%2BMgrCGnrVkWoDk%2Fb%2Fz03H2hiuzbi3Zl0f1ViJZFFgJ%2FGgE8w57AsexU7jFPGDVve47y10fVYkxAnljCcLbqIo9XXOcMGiCpEWOCabBuIo9G1%2Fle6sdCdqwHtO9R%2B0%2BcEoLrG9HiPNIgOaZFG7fm%2B6AOLBWft%2Fq%2BIHOEqi0hsNPQHJb30hMeanVq3vCih9U24R5w%2BQ4kc%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR5Dys4eiYQ

Just bought an omnium cargo v2 frame - any other owners give me some pointers on tyre clearance? Looking at a 29x2.22 - too big? I know spec suggests 2.1.

I think I’ve got for some 622x37 marathon plus on the back of line with room to spare for guards. More room on the front fork. Can check tomorrow if you want? This is a V2 non WiFi
Have seen photos on some with small knobbly tyres (kinda small block esque?) but that may be the V3/WiFi version.

I have a Continental RaceKing 2.2 on the rear and Conti CrossKing 2.0 on the front of my v2 MiniMax, both with good clearance.

My stock V2 came with 29x2.15- this is with their mudguards too. I did have issues with clearance of the mudguard though this was more to do with the fit of the guard in the front fork that then tyre size. occasionally the rear had clearance issues with the kickstand but this was because they substituted their custom ones with aftermarket’s ones, no issues with clearance when I replaced with the Omnium one
Without out guards I’d say 2.15 is safe, with probably go down to 2.1 or even 2

Douze Cycles is releasing a new cargo bike in 2023.
Douze Heta. Looks similar to the R&M Packster if you squint.

Santa came early. Thanks @VeloSurMer ! Hopefully gonna get it built up next week, and probably not ride it until all the shit has disappeared off the roads

With Douze their selling point is the variable cargo space, and fact it comes in a much smaller box due to bolting in half (or kinda 3 parts), so yeah maybe not the prettiest, but R+M have shifted tens of thousands of packsters which are equally industrial'equse design.
Been trying to get Douze for near 4 years now, they basically have their hands full with mainland European market so aren't really too fussed about UK unfortunately (it'll be barely double digit sales pa for them here)

Cheers for that! It's a WiFi cargo 2. Not planning on mudguards, so I reckon 2.22 will be a-okay.

While on the subject of omnium mudguards does anyone happen to have a set laying about they fancy selling before I buy some new ones.

If we're making requests I do need a rear wheel.. Anyone selling?

Anyone ever serviced the fork/headset of the Douze? What's the steps? The cables keep it from getting the fork out. How do you slacken the cables or remove them?

Thinking of putting some baby cranks on the Omnium (140 - 150ish)

I have some from my polo days if you need.

Appreciate the offer but I'm reluctant to have anything shipped (into EU) as I got stung for a free gift recently.
I'll be scouring AliX for something that fits my 24mm BB -

I like the raised stays idea. Makes for easy work....except negated by what looks like nightmarish cable routing!
would be interesting to see what mounting points there are, looks like a bit of a wanker to strap anything to it. Pretty sure you'll have to buy their own shit. -

Bit of an R&M vibe
