How long you there for? If you want to know anything or local rides can DM me. As a certified hipster I lived there for a good while.

Thanks that's a great offer but I will be there with a group for a week being guided by The Service Course guys so should be all OK for the week. The Traka is an add-on for the final day riding

I've not done their events but I've stolen their routes in the past. They're good. But I'm not sure I'd want to do the events with a bunch of head kickers. What numbers do they get racing?

Did you live in Girona itself? Would you recommend it?
-
• #26308
Yes. And that depends!
Your welcome to DM me and give me some information and I'll try recommend it. Some people love it, I loved parts of it but hated others. It wasn't for me. But it's a really lovely city.

I'd say take a look at a Genesis Vagabond frame. It's got a relatively high front end and will take 2.2" tyres in 29" or 650b with space to spare. Mine is set of 2x11, but it'll take 1x easily (it has a 68mm BB, so is compatible with MTB or Road chainsets).
There's every conceivable braze on, so it's a really good touring frame. On the road it's OK, I've only run it with 700x40c tyres and I had no real complaints.
It really does shine off-road though. It seems happy to roll through or over anything and gives a very comfortable ride. -

You know, I bet that thing doesn’t ride too bad for a heavy touring bike, but the spacer Dalek under the stem makes me sad. This has to be owned by a mechanic who raided the miscellaneous bits tub on the work bench for all those conical spacers. If they’d just used regular spacers I’d be more into it.

Is that an All City fork?

That’s a classic case of: just because you can doesn’t mean you should. 20cm BB height, srsly?

Holy crap, how many numbers can you get in a bike check? Not only all the geometry stuff but parts numbers for half the componentry? What in the mouthbreathing fuck?

Proper skip fire of a build

removed the decals to keep it from being a theft magnet
lol, did plenty of other stuff to keep it from being a theft magnet, far more effective than removing the decals
